Anyone else successful in the 2018 ballot ?

Will be my longest race ( current longest is GO33 ), really looking forward to it, and once Manchester Marathon out of the way at start of April then attention will turn from roads to trails with lots of hills.

Have run across Rannoch Moor from Forest Lodge to Glencoe a few times, but only walked Glencoe to FW and that was about 15 or 20 years ago, so going to get a few recce runs in of the 2nd half.

Well done Gus. Didn’t realise it was ballot entry now. I was interested in doing the D’oH years ago but the Lairig Ghru taught me my limits.

I'm in again. Ran it last year, but the lack of long runs really showed. With some proper long runs before I'd like to think I could maybe go three quarters of an hour faster.

What are other folk doing about the back-up requirements?
You must have a back-up vehicle (car, 4x4 if you have one (not required though!!)...
Who fancies a fantastic day out in the beautiful North West of Scotland on the legendary West Highland Way, supporting the lovely Sophster? Team of 2 would be best: a driver/sandwich maker and a runner/Muller rice opener. Eternal gratitude, fetchie fame and gold and jewels will be yours. (*)

It's Sat 7 August. Come on Fetchland.

* I may have lied about the gold and jewels
