Website now says it will be 300 entries and no "reverse" list ;-)

So about 220 - 250 on the day ?

I inadvertently advertised the devil at canoe/kayak club tonight. I was wearing my delightful bright yellow support crew t-shirt and someone approached me to ask what I was advertising. I said 'oh it's just a support crew tshirt for the devil' as if everyone should know what that is. I had to clarify a bit more detail and that it's 'only' half of the whw.

Website has been changed from 300 to 250 entries - entries open tomorrow 9pm.

Was thinking about this, but as I've got a Speyside Way place deferred from last year's withdrawal, then think I'll go for that instead.

Seems to be full already. Just had a look after forgetting it opened yesterday....

The Speyside Facebook page says that was going to open at the end of January....no sign of anything yet.

at the end of the day
hi guys.. just picked up this thread...totally agree with all the points raised and all the changes are most welcome and delighted to be putting my toe to the line again... this was my first ever ultra in 2003 .. myself. Ian B and George McGregor competed in the first ever running of it... will be watching eagerly if you have any training routes planned and travel up from the sunny "errshirr" coast!!!!!!!.......

About This Thread

What are other folk doing about the back-up requirements?
You must have a back-up vehicle (car, 4x4 if you have one (not required though!!)...
Who fancies a fantastic day out in the beautiful North West of Scotland on the legendary West Highland Way, supporting the lovely Sophster? Team of 2 would be best: a driver/sandwich maker and a runner/Muller rice opener. Eternal gratitude, fetchie fame and gold and jewels will be yours. (*)

It's Sat 7 August. Come on Fetchland.

* I may have lied about the gold and jewels
