Oh. I've never tried neoprene jammers. Didn't even know they existed. I thought you were talking about normal swimming shorts (like these: https://www.wiggle.co.uk/swim/jammers?f=300394) I guess it's possible - neoprene will trap air more than polyester I would have thought they might make a small difference, but it should be similar in a wetsuit maybe? |

I’ve got neoprene shorts, zone3 I think, very helpful for my sinking legs while I was learning but I haven’t used them for a long time now.

I have a pair which I wear from time to time. They do make a difference if you have sinking legs.

Buoyancy shorts is what the things are called. Jammers are anything in that cut.

Yes they're the ones, Glenn. And it's the zone3 ones I've just invested in Ah that explains it fozzy! I was surprised that it seemed quite difficult to buy buoyancy neoprene shorts combined with a standard swimsuit top half for women. (Goes off to corner the market in the new product) |

I think of them more like rubber punishment pants for when I have been bad and forgotten my drills for a while.

GG they do seem to market the bouyancy shorts to women, I did swim with a girl that wore them over her normal swim suit. I also, I'm sure I saw an advert pop up on FB for a suit, but that could quite possibly have been for a whole different audience using neoprene ![]() |

Hello - I appreciate that I am resurrecting an old thread but it seemed to be the logical place for my noob question. I have a tt bike and I'd like to put a water bottle holder on it - I'd like one that sits comes out from under the seat and faces backwards like this . But, what are they called, and does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you in advance. |

They're just called seat-mounted bottle cages, I think. Planet-X used to do some when they still built TT and tri bikes. I haven't seen any for a while.
