I expect there will be a “pack” online, well there has been in the past so watch email They will have to specify racking times pre start as they can’t tell everyone to rack by 6!

I 100% get it! Been there 😂 When I did the half in 2021 they parked me in the car park the other side of the lake literally a mile from transition! Halfway there I stopped dropped everything and panicked I’d left something

EP is spot on. OH is on his third Outlaw half this year and when we've turned up on the Saturday to rack it's been busy but not rammed with tailbacks. They've had delays previously getting people onto site for the start of the half on Sunday morning, but Saturday has flowed well. I'd suggest allowing a bit of extra time to drive there just because they haven't had the extra races before, but you'll be arriving before the half racking slots open so should be fine. You can end up walking quite a distance from the parking, so you might want to keep the hotel booking to make adding extra time for getting in, parking and walking over much easier (and give you a more leisurely start to race day).
Info has usually come out by email about a week before and collecting the race pack has been very quick - it's all very efficient and the volunteers are lovely.
OH packs from about a week out into crates (good for regular paranoia checks!), before doing a final check with a list and then putting it into his tri bag. We still always have a final paranoia stop to check something has been packed about half a mile after leaving home
I'll be up there Saturday afternoon while OH racks and if you're happy to share number / kit to look for, I'm always up for some cheering on!

Get there early to give yourself plenty of time to faff 😀 speaking from some experience as a grade A faffer, I’d rather have extra time to walk around and find the bike and run ins/outs have yet another wee and food/drink before the off.
You’ve done it before, only this time we’re with you virtually not in person, but you’ll be amazing HB, just like you were at the Dorney super sprints xx

Lists are very important in my world! Write it well in advance so you have plenty of time to check through that you've got everything you'll need. On my first tri I completely forgot that I'd need my specs for the bike and run legs (I have prescription goggles for the swim) and had to beg to be allowed back into the transition area to leave a pair with my stuff. So try to think of each leg separately, when you make that list! You'll get across that finish line feeling ten feet tall! xx
