Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Loved this race - found it pretty hard to maintain my pace but was worth it in the end as managed a new PB by a minute. Not completely flat but not too challenging either.
Was aiming for 1.30, so very pleased with that! The start is 5 min walk from my house, so I guess that makes this my home race. Started off slightly quick - was about 40sec up after 5 miles, managed to keep on pace until about 10 miles and then was hanging on at the end. Having the distance marked every half mile is a good touch. Will definitely be back next year.
New PB for me! Great course - VERY HAPPY! (Never thought I would break 2:30 - EVER!)
Turbo doesnt count
Let's see if the training for a full mara has helped the speed! Certainly did! Set off thinking of sub 1.45 with 1.40 as a wildest dream time so more than pleased with the outcome. Set off at 7.30s and wondered how long I could keep churning them out, the answer, 13.1 miles!
excellent race good support gently undulating and beat my 12 yr old pb from GNR
A good race on a flat course - took it steady and got a good time out of it...
A P.B! By a long way!!
PB, really pleased
intended starting a bit slower but managed to maitain the pace, more or less. Last 5 miles slowed down a bit but not drastically. Had some reserves of energy left at the end but not a lot.
First race. Excellent.
Super Kev
Good race on a flat course and great scenery. Ran a decent time as well. Pretty pleased
