Running with OH
Fantastic race - PB for me - not run this fast for a long time! Really sunny.
official time - 58.02
very hilly for 1st 2km the undulating, quite warm as well.
6.21miles 10km yet finish line was at 6.58miles
My back has been killing me all week. Sorry to anyone who bet on me
pb for this race . best course edinburgh has set up
Ran with my wife to provide her with support for her first post-pregnancy race. She did brilliantly
Paced my friend round!! Legs felt fine after yesterdays 20 mile race.
going to be my first 10 k road race not pushing myself too hard for time just going to enjoy the experience.
Tough quite hilly course, go to be pleased with that
Paced a pal round to a pb, but we missed the sub-50. Great to run at this pace and really enjoy the scenery and the occasion. Didn't wear my Fetch vest as running for a "Tiger" charity, but gave the Fetchpoint a big shout out anyway. Well done to all the supporters and runners alike.
Best time for Edinburgh but a little dissapointed with my performance.couldnt get into it today at all .did OK till Bristol square but died going up to the mound ..l a tough course and good practice for Penicuick next week.. bring on the hills
A bad shin and no training...........yay......not to bad!
hilly - not a bad time despite not being very fit at the moment due to injury
Tough with the hill at the start now.Had a bit of a 'mare overall but still happy with my time
Placed 2nd M40. Happy with that so soon after the London Marathon.
Really bad run for me! 1st 2k's going great up that hill on track for a sub 45 then got a stitch just after 2k and it went downhill from there. Lots of pain, struggling to breathe and then affected me for the rest of the race!
Practice run to kick start proper training after poor winter training

My first "big" race, (I only started running in Feb 2010), really enjoyed the event. It was well organised, the runners were freindly and the route took in a lot of the famous landmarks of Edinburgh.
Nice run around Edinburgh with lots of spectators to cheer you on.
