Chris Worthers turned up late. parked up 200m into the course and joined the tail end. did a captain speedy through the field until it started to hurt. could still taste my breakfast so was just pleased to get round.

Doctor K PB would be an outside bet here I think with where I am at the mo. Did have a good race at Lostock but doubt whether I can make my 10K PB of 50.14 at the mo. ..and make it I did ! Garmin time 49.08 -defo PB -good to see many other fetchies there too

ellew Was really pleased with time considering I've only been running for few weeks after being injured for 5 months. Weather was brilliant. Race was lovely. One day I will do it in under 50!!

jolguk As friendly and flat as ever, I can't really fault my local race this year. (Although I thought the goody bag was slightly rubbish). Nice conditions, too. I can only blame myself for being almost 2 minutes over my PB from last year, but I know I need to do some more training. Great to see a few Fetchies at the end.

RichMallaber A great race & well organised, conditions were spot on aswell. Started off a bit too quickly, but seeing Fechin their helped me pace myself - or was it drag me round! Sandpitt I believe this to be a fast, flat course so I'm going all out for a pb.UPDATE: Well I repaid the faith shown by those who bet on me, thanks guys! Managed to go sub 40 for the first time and achieve a goal I had for this year early.I'm well chuffed!It helped that the weather was fine and the course flat.
