CC2 Speedy Goth Started far too fast and paid for it at the end. That hill was a killer! And I measured the course at 6.47 miles. Notts AC, VEGAN RUNNERS UK, Midland Masters A C 38:37 42:15 43:00 69.17

Grid Really well organised race, I thought. Unpleasantly tough hill at 600 metres to go put paid to a strong finish, along with the warm sunshine which decided to come out for the first time all week. Good result for me though, in the context of recent training and performances. Garmin measured a race distance of 10.2K. Bournville Harriers 45:33 58:32 1:06:00 1:02:08 42.49

philbo Hoping to do 57 Min's or better , although its a new course and dont know anything about it, hopefully its going to be flat !!.*** update ** Well happy today, never thought i would break my pb,felt really good and kept a nice steady pace all the way round, i realised a pb could be on when i got into the last couple of miles , the last 400m was a killer up hill into the city center but by then i was determined not to throw it away , what a feeling when i crossed the line. reecey Found this hard - probably shouldn't do a hike in the week before a run. was ok once I settled in but the hill at the end was a biggy. Unaffiliated 1:02:18 1:02:51 1:00:00 1:04:35 46.02

The Mighty D Ran last year.Had nothing left in last 1k. Hopefully trying to improve on last years time and get near to sub 50 mark. Aug 29 2008 - New course supposedly better than last year. Hopefully flatter but lets not kid ourselves this is Sheffield. Finish appears to be up hill!! Unaffiliated 45:22 48:05 52:10 51:13 52.02
