Grid Really well organised race, I thought. Unpleasantly tough hill at 600 metres to go put paid to a strong finish, along with the warm sunshine which decided to come out for the first time all week. Good result for me though, in the context of recent training and performances. Garmin measured a race distance of 10.2K.

philbo Hoping to do 57 Min's or better , although its a new course and dont know anything about it, hopefully its going to be flat !!.*** update ** Well happy today, never thought i would break my pb,felt really good and kept a nice steady pace all the way round, i realised a pb could be on when i got into the last couple of miles , the last 400m was a killer up hill into the city center but by then i was determined not to throw it away , what a feeling when i crossed the line.

runningowl made prediction easily. got stitch for some reason with 800m to go but managed to push myself over the line for wanted sub 42 min target. enjoyed this more than last year but not sure if route better or worse.
