Grid Really well organised race, I thought. Unpleasantly tough hill at 600 metres to go put paid to a strong finish, along with the warm sunshine which decided to come out for the first time all week. Good result for me though, in the context of recent training and performances. Garmin measured a race distance of 10.2K. Bournville Harriers 45:33 58:32 1:06:00 1:02:08 43.00

philbo Hoping to do 57 Min's or better , although its a new course and dont know anything about it, hopefully its going to be flat !!.*** update ** Well happy today, never thought i would break my pb,felt really good and kept a nice steady pace all the way round, i realised a pb could be on when i got into the last couple of miles , the last 400m was a killer up hill into the city center but by then i was determined not to throw it away , what a feeling when i crossed the line. Slowly But Shirley That evil hill at the end got to me unfortunately and I had no oomph left! Quite enjoyable run overall - despite being mostly along dual carriageway which I found quite dull at times! Great seeing the elites coming back on the other side of it though!
