And not even just if the sentence might, perhaps, be regarded as a question? Like 'I hope you are well?'. I know it's an increasingly (bad) habit for many people to put a question mark at the end of a sentence like that because they think they're asking a question but in fact it's a statement, so doesn't need a question mark? How irritating?
