I am lucky that I can bring my dog to work and walk her on site - a rural business park. There is also a nursery on site which caters for tiny babies to pre-school children.
It goes without saying that I clean up after my dog.
The nursery NEVER clear away after themselves. There are still halloween decorations, all weather beaten and tatty hanging about the place. My dog tried snatching the tinsel off one of the trees they have decorated. We find all sorts while out our walks, what happens if my dog decides to eat something and has to go to the vets?? Eh?

That my work colleague is loudly playing Christmas songs on his portable CD player. That in itself is OK, but they're cover versions of pop Xmas songs. The singers have tried to sing the songs in exactly the same way as the originals (even imitating the specific voices) and it's really, really awful.

That ^^^ brings back memories of the MFP, K-Tel and Top Of The Pops compilation LPs with hits by some quite poor “soundalikes” 🙁

Notification from HMRC of underpayment of income tax. This will be recovered over the next tax year.
The reason for the underpayment is because the Department of Works and Pensions did not advise HMRC that I had started receiving my state pension in May until December 6th! Seven months!
I know that I will be paying what I would have paid anyway but when I’m trying to budget carefully I don’t really need this reduction in income out of the blue.
It’s not just me though. The chap I spoke to at HMRC said that many people who started their state pension this year are in a similar situation because of this communication delay between Government departments.
My MP and Secretary of State for Works and Pensions have received emails! (FWIW 🤷♂️)
