Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yes I felt like pointing that out but decided it wouldn’t help the situation!

[Is there a reason they can't manage a full plate SP, I can't these days and have to politely ask for a smaller portion] Why did only some of the Lionnesses get an honour and not all? Not that I agree with the honour thing.

I believe that the convention is that those who play in the final get honoured, but the wider squad that went to the tournament don't.

I can't remember when but it took a while for the whole of the 1966 final XI to receive an MBE. A few of the team had received honours and it seemed odd that other key players were omitted.

My mother in law having to put milk in a jug for the breakfast table - just use the effing bottle like homeland people

Totally agree ... take this to its logical conclusion and don't bother with plates and cups, eat straight from the pot and drink straight from the bottle and/or tap.

Insurance policies that auro-renew 'for your convenience'. No its not, its for the companies' profits. It should be illegal to have auto-renew as being defaulted to 'on'.

I was surprised and not surprised.

As for insurance mine is on, but they tell me renewal time is coming and I can change the terms or cancel.

Agreed that's the way it works OS, but I think my annoyance is their insistence that it is only for my convenience, when clearly they have a financial interest in making sure people don't shop around
