Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Virgin Media TV has crashed due to outage issues.

I was hoping to see some cricket this afternoon. I'm hoping more that it will be fixed asap as my daughter (who has Down's), will get quite angry if it is still off.

Assuming you're in Surrey, Phil, does this look like a widepread fault? [I'm in Liverpool] TV went off here around 11am; recorded message; still off now.

Still nothing here. Tried a few reboots but I think it's a case of waiting for Virgin to sort it out.

VM TV was off in Edinburgh earlier this afternoon, tried power cycling the box but just got a message saying it's a network fault (internet access was still ok)

Not sure what grinds me more - people not wearing masks or people not wearing them properly….probably the latter but just be a whisker.

Obnoxious round robin newsletters in Christmas cards. Yes, tell us how you are but don't wind us up with "We won the lottery, took early retirement, bought a mansion, did a round the world cruise, son is a CEO at a multi-national company, daughter got three firsts at Oxford..."
