Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[Somebody's law of synchronicity, WL! I do find the blood donation service more difficult to book appointments with these days.... ever since they stopped the mobile collection outside my place of work a few years back, it's become progressively more difficult to find a time and donation centre that works well.]

A delivery company, finding nobody in when they tried to deliver a small parcel, leaving a note to say it's at their "collection point", an obscure Happy Shopper in a different part of town.

I can't even find exactly where on the road this Happy Shopper is because they haven't left an address, just a road name, are not answering the 'phone and Googling brings up many corner shops on that road none of which are listed specifically as Happy Shopper.

Sigh
People that park at a petrol pump and then just go in to use the shop, rather than parking in the available non-pump parking spaces. On a Friday. When folks are queueing to get fuel.

Oooh Sigh, yes that is a big gear grinder here too.

My own gears are being ground by the fact I have spent so little time actually in my own house that I am having to re-wash laundry as it has gone musty left in the machine. With another 2 loads waiting and a crap forecast.
