People who, wearing a coat, think it's not necessary to close the front door on a cold and windy day. Particularly if those people are the same ones who complain about how cold the house is and want the heating on.

I f*cking hate this priority booking shite for gigs. i.e. if you've got a contract with a certain phone company or a credit card with a certain bank, you get first dibs on tickets. So you can be the biggest fan the band have got and have spent a fortune on CDs, DVDs, T-shirt etc but because your phone contact is with EE and not O2, you're away in the back of beyond. How the f*ck is that fair ?

Okay, both of them. At that particular moment, John had the upper hand in the irritating arsehole stakes.

When, upon having a skiing accident and dislocating your collar bone, being told by the travel insurance people that as the operation to fix it can wait, they won't pay as you can have it when you get home. (Not me, but one in our group)
FFS, what on earth do we shell out all that money for?!?!?!

Local half marathon on Sunday. Looks like a potentially hard shift with 20mph+ Easterlies and a "feels like" temperature of -6C at race start, which is just when the yellow warning of snow and ice ends. Race organisers on FB have suggested wearing more clothes, especially slower runners who will take more than two hours to finish.
What GMGs is the offence some people have taken to being described as a slower runner. Including someone who says they expect to take 2:50. As someone whose average HM time is probably slightly over two hours and often finished in the bottom quartile, "slower" seems a perfectly reasonable description.
I expect some of them won't bother heeding the advice (although people should have enough sense that they don't actually need to be told to wear extra layers when it is that cold) and end up being treated for hypothermia.

How else would you describe someone in the back half of the field? Slow isn't a judgement in this context, it's a description.

Wearing three different bits of clothing, each with a zipped pocket at the base of my spine, and not being able to work out which layer contains my phone, debit card, loose change, etc.
