Badger, don’t get me started on people parking on the pavement. Lot of it round our way, last week had a woman shout at me for not moving by out of her way as I was walking on the section of pavement that she wanted to walk on.
Then, the other night, coming home from a gig, some guy nearly hit my friend’s partner as he drove up onto the pavement right behind him trying to park. Didn’t even slow down, and didn’t seem to realise what he’d done wrong when we all gave him horrified looks.

That happens here too. Also; people parking on their drop kerb facing their house with cars that don't fit on the drop kerb bit but block the whole pavement in front of their house.

When people say that someone "got caught up in the wrong crowd" like it wasn't their fault at all that they made a decision to do something illegal or dickish.
A crowd is always made up of individuals who each make decisions. Take some responsibility for that behaviour. It isn't anyone else's fault.

[A wise headmaster of my acquaintance used to tell parents who came out with that line, "I think you will find that your child IS the wrong crowd."]

[Good response. It's very similar to the one: You aren't stuck in traffic, you ARE traffic.]

Everything, today. I think I may have worked too many consecutive days this week already and I'm not even half way through.

Similarly, "it's not my fault, I'm easily led".
Funnily enough those people never seem to be easily led into studying mathematics, or music, or volunteering. Or being a decent member of society, usually.

Well yes but you do not under any circumstances get into a car when you have been drinking and drive. You can kill people. Other people as well as yourself.
He is a fuckwit and needs to be made a public example of.
