Hi, I've just joined and I'm looking for a running/training partner. I now live in Ealing, run at between 8.40 & 9.00 m/mile and will be training for London (I have a good for age place for 2018). I've got places to run Richmond and Ealing halfs in September so I really should get my trainers on soon! I'm pretty useless at running on my own and would like to run with others, at a similar pace, if only for the long runs at the weekend. Is there anyone out there who'd consider running with me? Looking forward to hearing from you if you do!

Welcome to FE ![]() Have you tried getting in touch with some local clubs as well? I've heard good things about Ealing Eagles: fetcheveryone.com/clubs-view.php?id=2096 and also West4 Harriers: fetcheveryone.com/clubs-view.php?id=1541 |

Thank you Bintmcskint! And yes, I've tried Ealing Eagles - sadly they don't recognise achievements for runners over the age of 50 and their runs are the same every week... I'll look at West4 Harriers though - thanks for that! ![]() |

I'm way too slow and too far away from you, but welcome. Hope your training goes well and that you manage to buddy up, and find a bit of variety too.

Welcome to Fetch - you're definitely in the best online running community there is - and this post certainly isn't meant to direct you to any others as an alternative... but having said that, is there a Facebook 'Running Ealing' group? I know lots of places do have such groups not running clubs as such but just where local runners can get in touch with others in their area... Obviously I spend far more time on this site but I do occasionally look at the local Facebook running group too.... ![]() |

parkruns are often good places to find out about local running groups that aren't necessarily affiliated clubs. Best of luck!
