Of course I suppose I could run as an individual but I just get that disheartened being so far down the field when all the guys are standing about waiting to start. I'll maybe talk myself in to going to the next one (January I think?) regardless of whether there's a team or not. Just had to prioritise what I use my petrol on until payday - getting to work was more important that getting to a race! Anyhoo, I managed to get my long run done today too while I was playing in the mud

I'm not sure how the 'declarations' thing works; the couple of times I've run in the league XC races someone else has delat with that side of things.
