More miles will see you flying even further Daz. Just be watchful of any niggles as you ramp up.

Looks like it was a day for great parkrunning, well done to the podium placers and to those feeling their way back.

Nice one Stoosh and Lou too. Yes, it was Freya Ross (I still think of her as Murray!)

Bazo, you reckon that was worth 15s again with the wind? Chancing my arm a bit here! :-) G

G. I was 17 seconds faster last week and expected faster today so I would say 20seconds slower today

Nice wins Postie and Stoosh, and good parkrunning too Baz and Lou. I bimbled around mine today, 25 mins, loved it!

Back on the theme of flat routes, I had a tempo to do this evening and given it was only 4 miles I chose 14 laps of a local park. Good outcome though as I was able to run it progressively down from 6:13 to give a 6:08 avg. Pleased with that as earlier in the week I was completely done in having run a 16 and a 13 in consecutive days!

.....but 8 of those 9 seconds I lost in mile 3 I made back up in the 0.1m ! AdmittedlyI was on a mission to see what I could get my HR to max oiut at, which turned out to be the same as the last 2 parkruns and not worth theeffort !

Had it been a 5 miler I suspect I would have been caught and passed :-(

I wish I could run 5k pace for 4 miles Hunts! Prob 10k - 10m pace I'd hope.

Baz - give yourself a break, you've been injured and you're coming backā€¦..
