Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

!8 49 at Strathclyde Parkrun ! Benign weather ( cold , damp but calm ) and good conditions underfoot . Influx of decent runners , perhaps because of the temporary closure of Falkirk so a few people to chase ....Delighted !

The wind tonight its horrific. up til yesterday was fine.

I switched my MP run to do it last night as I could see it was going to be rough for a few days.

I do expect to go sub 19 in the next couple of attempts if I get a calm day.

Well done Zorba

I avoided the temptation to have a bash today, even though weather looked perfect. I chose instead to stick to my plan which is a 2 week cycle and includes the types of running I like, Today was a tough 6 mile cross country. I hope that the variety in my running will see a strong performance at Parkrun next week.

Depends on what you are after.....if a fast time/PB then Cupar, if you want some extra training benefit then the hilly race may be better...and could still deliver a PB (saying this not having checked what your PB actually is)

Yeah...Glasgow certainly more convenient for me , and more familiar runners to race , so that might be the option ( fitness permitting ,always )
