Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Let's talk about inaugural parkruns after they've happened.

Brilliant news about Alnwick - do we know the location? Hulne Park I guess...

There’s been a Facebook call out for volunteers for Horden too - with a view towards a summer start.

So two more on the horizon for the North East 😀

Thete were 370 on the official results from Crichton parkrun. There were a quite a few unknowns at the end though so not sure if they had issues processing results.

I saw that, HT. I'm surprised as there are a few running clubs in the area, you'd have thought they might have rustled up enough volunteers to create the initial core team :-( I see Teignbridge Trotters and Dawlish Coasters vests at Exeter Riverside, so they're not immune to the delights of parkrun :-(

Bordon Parkrun (nr Farnham) has got the go-ahead for a March 10th launch.

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
