Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thurs eve: gruelling 15 miles at slow pace. Heavy mileage week, 35 done in 4 days (have my children this w/e so get have to get the miles and LSR's done midweek. Lunchtime cross country planned, 6.5 miles, not done the route for a couple of months. It is a fabulous run, a quagmire even when dry. Lord only knows what it'll be like today. If I don't post by 3pm telling what it was like send out a rescue party!

Mud glorious mud. Sheeting rain for the first half, hot sun the second. About 7 miles through woods, fields, river valleys, along the Orwell estuary. Hard going as have covered 42 miles in 5 days, but really enjoyable, esp. the shower after.

Strangest sky ever as I look out of the office window - look to the right, blue sky, few fluffy white clouds - looks like a perfect summer's day. Look left, dark forbidding clouds unloading heavy rain, really dark looking.

Well done again Steve! Thank goodness the rain stopped before the race........

My run wasn't so good - another poor run round the Serpentine - I think I've got a mental block over running that route................................ the reality is that I simply haven't been running enough over the last few months.
I've got the goal of the New Forest HM to go for, so it should persuade me to train longer and further.......
