I'd did it! I actually went out and ran without my back or ankle hurting.
5 slowish miles but I feel like a great weight has been lifted from my shoulder. Planning to do my 20 mile long run on Sunday but will be sensible and stop if things start to feel too uncomfortable.

MT I take it you aren't using an out and back course like I generally use for long runs.

Hi MX. I also like out and back for my long runs I think that turning around point helps you think I'm on my way home rather than I'm half way.
I've planned a route that goes around in circle so that it doesn't take me too far from home and I will take enough money for a bus ride if I need one. Good advice.
