Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

I am going to set a gin trap for the bloke at 8.5 K into his next race. Let's see him break half an hour then.

Big Al, some people are just naturally fast runners. However, one wonders if the performance would be the same for the NEXT 5K on a 10K? Or the next 15K on a half?

Had a lovely early morning tempo run. Used a workout I programmed in to my Garmin and it worked a treat. I love it when it nags me to speed up and slow down! It'll take a bit to get used to it but it is great training with it. Did a 1 mile warm up (10mins) and four miles effort (30 mins) then jogged the last .5 mile home. Loved it!

Nice route danny.

6.5 miles for me today, 3 at tempo pace. Nice day for it.

Hey Cliffy
Yup,nice cloudy day with no wind to speak of so ideal.
In true dedicated runner style, I'm off for a pasty for lunch before heading to work.
If I didn't run, I'd probably be big enough to feature on a channel 5 9pm show.

I was p!ssed off because I forgot my iPod, but strangely ran the 6.3m into work 3 mins faster than usual, so I'm rather pleased.

As usual, start off slowish then break into tempo for the last 3 or so miles. 40 min and a bit

And it didn't rain. Woohoo!

No road works on the A55 last week, I drove from Anglesey to the Mold exit - all clear.
