Due a 15 miler, not allowed as I am slightly injured (i.e. it's not too bad now but if I run on it anymore it'll get worse) and it's driving me crackers. Was meant to be my longest run yet.

not longest ever, but just over 8 miles (1 hr 15, and in 70 - 80% zone) and feels like a real achievement. Ribblehead to Ingleton linear route (got dropped off). Chilly in the headwind, got mugged by a little terrier going through one of the farmyards - but all she wanted to was to say hello and give me a good lick. She was fun ! Was meant to be 7 miles, but OH didn't turn up to meet me in the village, so had to run home the extra mile from the village.

my first 10mile race, so am pleased with time of 1.34.52. tried to keep to 9.30m/m which I managed until mile 6 when for some reason i threw in a sub 9, felt fine until i saw how quick it had been which immediately had the effect of making my legs tired! if i sort out the gremlins in my head i reckon i can go sub 1.30 another time no problem
