Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I still remember what it was like to lose the last three months of last year to injury so not in any hurry to push my groin beyond what it's happy with!

Three months !! The longest I've ever had off in 32 years of running was a month and that was bad enough. Three days would drive me mad let alone months.

No run. Man flu progressed ito full blown upper Resp tract infection - so many shades of green, oh joy! Hoping it settles enough to take Jim (aged 5) to his 1st footie match in Cardiff. Come on Chelsea!!

Wasn't much fun mxhornet, especially after a summer of really hard work getting my times down. Still that is (hopefully) a thing of the past and hopefully I'm stronger for it - if only mentally!

OK. Was meant to be a long one but I postponed that until tomorrow because:
1) had a lie-in
2) Mrs D had a lie-in with me
3) Would have needed to be back by 11 at latest
3) was feeling really tired yesterday
4) had belly fulll of chinese food, not the best fuel.

Decided to do a tempo run but felt heavy-legged and tired, so it just became a general run, or so I thought. When I came home and logged it discovered I had done it at 8:30m/m which is more like my 10k pace, so that was good.

Tomorrow's target is 3 and a half hours slow.
