Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

All the best RT!

30 mins tempo runs along the canal towpath in Manayunk, Philadelphia. You wouldn't believe how hot it is here for late December! I only bought winter jogging clothes and have been baking every time I go out.

4.8 miles in under 40 mins, breezy and wet but pretty mild.

thanks for sympathy everyone.
was not sure about sunday earlier jigs, but pain eased off after some ibuprofen, hope if i rest tomorrow it will be ok, i will take ibuprofen and paracetomol and hopefully the adrenaline may help.Really dont want to miss it as its the only 10k around before my marathons and there are so many people who didnt get in it seems unfair to have a space and not race.
keefy, I am so jealous, I hate this grey, damp miserable weather.

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((RT)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))). Hope you are ok for Sunday but for goodness sake don't wreck yourself if knee is painful. There is a 10k locally on the 14th somewhere I spotted but I can't remember where I read about it. I'll have a search. Knees are a bit useful, look after it.

thanks BM, I'm sure its nothing, the right knee sorted itself out, nothing that a bit of chocolate avoidance cant put right, sounds like it might just be runners knee, which, I understand from reading on this site, isnt actually made worse by running on it, just blinking hurts.
14th sounds good if I dont make it, as long as its not one of those muddy, grassy events that you like!!
