Over the hills as usual, which is now getting on my tits ( I might be in a bad mood today) It is the same first mile uphill every run. without the dog for a change, snow on the top and in the valleys, muddy and icy, slippery enough. Nice views further into Wales with the mountains all capped in snow.

Awful. knackering XC on Sunday due to being so out of condition so took a day off and left it until this morning for the "next day recovery run". Still knackered and stiff - where's all that fitness gone?

Lovely 11k today at lunchtime. I got back to work and noticed my toes had bled all through my lovely new trainers. Boo! Stupid toenail injury but stupid amounts of blood that seemed to just multiply to infinity when I tried to wash it out. Sad
