It was one of those runs which you took up running for. A no pressure 5 miles around the local area at a comfy slippers pace

I RAN! I RAN I RAN I RAN I RAN I RAN!
I haven't run for 2 months, but for a teeny tiny marathon at the end of september, owing to the evil fascist foot (plantar fasciitis). Actually two fascist feet. But I made it out today and it was lovely. 5k. 29 minutes. a bit cold, no wind, dry - perfect running day! I don't think my lungs could have managed much more but it feels good to be back
Now just to build up again. Does anyone know of any recovery plans?

Intervals with MrW, he had to remember his old PT training to get me round the last one. Legs have definitely not forgiven me for last Sunday's half. He was in distinctly better shape than me at the end. Sunny, but windy. Might leave my 11 miler to Monday...

Spiritual, absolutely amazing, mental wind trying to blow me off the tops of the hill summits, rain battering into my face, stinging my eyes. Stars occasionally visible through the clouds, towns miles away lit up. All the streams full up and flowing fast, lanes deep in mud. the dog loving every minute, no livestock about. Only passed two houses, lights on. Absolutely amazing.
