Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Frustrating. first proper run all week, c 3m steady, and Garmin gave up the ghost after 100 yards as not charged up. No idea whether the run was at good pace or not.

My inner city off-road route through woods and parks. A few short hills which I sprinted up as I didn't have time to do my usual hill reps. About 5 miles in total.

Left the house a bit late so the warm-up to Parkrun was faster than normal. Parkrun was great with pleasant sunshine and I met a Manchester lass in the scanning queue. She was doing her first Parkrun while visiting Essex.

8 miles at just over 8:30 minute/mile pace but HR a tad higher than I'd hoped. Brings my hopes for a sub-3:30 at Leicester crashing back to earth :(
