f kin disasta, mojo somewhere else, Garmin stopped working, spare polar HRM briefly gave up the ghost, started again, then started being weird, so it got trashed. More walking than running. Really p*ssed off, grrrr.

3 nice steady miles for me, then 2 miles run/walk with daughter - who has decided to take up running, she has tried before and given up, but seems to have some extra motivation this time, so here's hoping!

The Scribbler
Amazing, uplifting, faster than I expected. Frosty along the river with my best running buddy. Picked up the forefoot strike when I was slacking. Kept talking throughout and still ran the distance a good 5 mins faster than I've managed in over a year

easy 3.6, dry enough to wear running sandals albeit with toe socks for the cold (fashion Faux Pas but felt lovely )

so much better than yesterday, ran most of the way, nice and steady climb, followed by quite steep descent. No gadgets on, no HRM, no garmin, just running to feel, and it felt brill. Only a short route, but still brill

5 miles , bit windy in places. Not many tourists today, a few lovely looking handbag dogs. Toe was bareable and better than yesterday.
