Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

6m30s pace.

Anyway, gentle 10.07 miles this morning instead of the usual 7-8 + an hour in the pool - will do that tomorrow and 2 LSTRs at the weekend.
Loads of fog, nearly every black car driving with no lights on, the speed warning sign constantly in red (>30mph) near my house and some w*nker in a 4x4 doing at least 60mph in a 30/40mph zone with <250yd visibilty who was upon me (good 100-200m away when I first started to cross at speed) before I could get half way across the road (4s tops) .....one fingered salute to him!

Ok, half my text has vanished!

Well, he covered a good 200yds in 2-3secs tops from the bottom of a slope over the top.
At least the aveage speed dropped to 20mph later after the fog/mist cleared.

Just a little 1.4 miles, taking it easy, testing hip. Lovely day for it.

Scott - question was for D2D (I've never seen anyone else use that convention). Sorry for the confusion. And my bet is on 6:50 rather than 6:30 - I've never seen her write about a 6.7m/m pace run, for example.

Quite a long run for me. I got ready for not too warm conditions only to find that it was considerably warmer outside the house than in. Cracking run, if a bit tiring after mile 7. Superb weather, loads of buzzards about. (waiting for me to drop)

grassy, and we had to go a different route from that anticipated due to the PE department of my son's school deciding to take a cross country run over the route I was planning - I don't know who would have been more embarrassed!

About 4 miles xc. Very easy to see if I can avoid niggling my calf and achilles. Nice day for it. Might go for spin on bike later if time allows.

Great, work rate was right up there until I hit the grassy bit then it sucked all the speed out of my legs and the 10k came in with an average time (thats my excuse and im sticking to it!)

Just over 17 miles this morning. Was going to do 20 but ended up near my house and diidn't feel like running around the block a dozen times to make up 3 miles or backtrack.
Nice and foggy again but pretty along the Cleethorpes seafront.
Usual motorists without lights and the denser the fog, the faster they went.
5 other runners out and about including 2 who looked like "proper" runners i.e tall, skinny and able to shift.

Will do another run tomorrow morning to take my total up to 26.2+ for the weekend (42.5ish for this week Sun-Sat).
