Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A hugely frustrating non-event, having almost been stuck in a 30 mile tailback on the way home, then having to take a different route home which would have got me to the club about 30 minutes after start.

Once I worked my way out of the city it was great. Victoria embankment to Westminster then up the mall to Hyde park corner, the full circumference of Hyde park and back along Victoria embankment to the city hotel I am in. Great run that will be getting repeated in a little over 8 hours before a long day in the office and a late flight home. 13.1 miles done in a little over 88 minutes. Ahhh....Bisto.

The club run, just a bit too far and a bit too long for a 'social' club run. 8 miles, 1hr 35, starting a bit late. Lots and lots of stiles to cross, (25 ish runners). And I probably wasn't in the best of moods following a hard days graft digging out and spreading tons of gravel.

3.60 mile tempo run today. 8.49 pace. My fastest tempo run for a goo few years, and I was slowed down by my lace coming undone and having to give way on a narrow bit of path. Very happy.

Quite hot. It's difficult to predict the temperature right now, but sun is never unwelcome :)
