Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Brilliant! A rare sunny and still day on the Town Moor so I did parkrun aiming for 9 minute miles. Another 30 minutes running in the bag and no PF niggles :-)

That man from March
Great - a pleasant 13.1 miles and my fastest half-marathon (albeit only in training) time since the 1980's.

nice and steady, on the local hill. Weather caught me out though. Cold and raining before the run, so i dressed accordingly, but the sun came out just as I started.

Painful :-( Had an argument with a cat's eye as I was going at full tilt. Cat's eye won :-( Keep discovering new bits that hurt (e.g. can't use my left little finger to type etc.) Stairs are a bit of an issue! I was 5.5 miles from home - luckily Husbando was working locally today not up in London, as I had to 'phone him to come and get me (after I'd worked out how to stand up, cried, moved out of the middle of the road and thrown up!)

Can't work out how to put a photo in the body of the message - so that's a profile picture of my knee after I cleaned it up!

sounds nasty MrsB, I guess the throwing up was shock, is the knee worth taking to casualty?

Dunno about casualty, but I am home alone with the children, so don't fancy the drive!
