Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

How was your run today?

Lovely 29km run in the rain. Ouch. But less ouch than last week (although still quite a lot of ouch). Sense. I'm not making much. But I have hot chocolate now, so it's all good.

A rather tough pyramid session, 5, 9, 12 5, but not too cold and lovely running through the half-light.

Good. Getting lighter in the morning now and still. Even doing hills was quite fun.

Woke up in a grotty mood.

Went out into the mist and rain for intervals with 2.5m easy each side of them.

Cleared the head and feeling much better.

The club run!!! In, out, up and down the valleys and hills of the Long Mynd. FFS the couple of climbs we did were close to vertical (check out the profile). On the tops the wind was cold, but going was good. Descents were pretty incredible for a night run as well. I was concentrating on the descents other people were chatting as if running on a flat road in the daytime! Amazing views of the lights of the cities towards Birmingham, Staffordshire, etc from the tops. Mint :-)

Nice 5m run with my club last night, a bit warmer than it has been of late but very breezy.
