About Me
I got into running as I had a long term ambition to do the FLM. I sent the form off in August if 2005 and started my first runs .And did it feel odd, probably my first run since school!
Didn't get in, but decided to keep the training up and entered a local 10k. I loved every minute of the race, and that got me hooked. So then progressed to a half marathon and then took the plunge to do my first marathon in Sept 2006 (New Forest). Done 7 marathons now, including FLM.
I enjoy the simplicity of running and the easy way you can get into it. I have some lovely runs near me, and its amazing to see how the countryside changes though out the season.
Got 2 marathons lined up this year, Windermere and then a trip to the US in October to d Chicago. I would really like to beat 4.30.
