nice long 'un to Durham, except that I went a different route and grossly underestimated the time and distance! Planned to do Durham parkrun but got there about 20 past 9, so just shortcutted and caught the end of the field. Passed the ones I could but left the path before the finish line(what integrity, hadn't ran the whole course!) No' bad

Did a mile in the mud with the dog and my 8 year old daughter. Then went back out with the dog for a couple more miles along the river. Nice.

Memorable headtorcher up the Beacon in the snow. Highlights were a guy in a 4 x 4 winding down his window just as we hit the top road and saying 'you must be bloody bonkers', plus me giggling like a school boy running down the last descent. A fantastic outing :-):-)

fleecy
Fan-tiddley-tastic! Much warmer than my run on Friday, had to take my fleecy off after 1/2 a mile and gloves off after a mile. Was wearing 3/4 length capris too as the long ones were in the wash (it's ok, I shaved off the woolly mammoth coat on my legs first, didn't want to traumatise any passersby!). Got dripped on by lots of trees, got a stitch, had to jump over lots of puddles, had a lovely time out for 5.5 miles Am feeling like a 'proper' runner now!!
