Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

7 miles 'easy' started a bit stiff but finished nice and fluid. ;-)

Fab, foresty, muddy, uphill and down. A race, but no pressure or targets, just a lovely, well supported run and a goody bag with T-shirt, kit kat and a banana at the end. bonus!

A bit demoralizing to begin with, mostly climbing for the first bit, into a headwind, Then it improved. HR a bit higher than I'd have liked, but not too bad. Then it was fields, lots of stiles to cross, I'm getting quite good at it now. A few new bits of route, and some tarmac (urgh) nice run in the end :-)

Fantastic. Went into my local 10m road race after slacking on the training, putting on 2Kg by hitting the booze and all-inclusive food on holiday and celebrating wife's and daughters birthday (late night chinese last night) - the result? Smashed last years' PB by over 7 minutes! What on earth did I do right?

Great Eastern run today. 15 mins faster than last year. Weight loss and extra effort paying off. V Happy.
