Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'll bear that in mind Y.L, I do have a tendency to dash off early. It works in the shorter races but not in the long run!

How do you peeps manage to kepp going day in day out and in all weathers?

I know I started Jogging (running) late in life but managed my first 10k last year.
I do prefer the gym but it is not the same as being outdoors in the fresh air.

When and where is your marathon Lo-Jo? Good luck with it! :-)

Arthur, running is a total addiction - the more I run the better I feel, the better I feel the more I run. It's just a buzz. The only time the weather stops me is if it's icy and too dangerous, and then I get really frustrated.

The current 'usual' run, fairly steady, the grass is so long that you can't see the path. nice steady pace, a little bit sluggish but ok. No dog today, in kennels for the weekend.

great - ran without the watch today - a usual 5 mile route, what a lovely run I had. Sometimes it just does you good to run and not to worry about time, distance etc. :)

Ran with a friend and her dog before work - really enjoyed it, but need to work on *jumping over dog* technique to save me tripping :-p

Absolutely great for 2 miles. Painful for 0.7!! After 400m swim and 8 mile bike I am happy with that :)

Today's 8.5 miles was a considerable improvement over yesterdays 5.5 miles. Rest tomorrow, so hope for another good run Sunday morning.

Unintentional tempo! Went out for a 3 mile plod and ended up doing the first mile in 10.50 and the next 2 in 10.06 so then jogged for .25 mile to recover. Might not sound fast to you but I'm almost a confirmed 11 minute miler so that felt quick! Happy Woo :)
