8 miles of huge hills! Ran up Penicuik's monster Pomathorn (anyone who has done the Penicuik 10K will know what hill I mean). It was pouring with rain and blowing a gale, cathartic in a sadistic sort of way! Good run though

Crappy. Not only has every tourist in the country, decided to decend on the South Bank today, but I got accused of knocking one of thei snot nosed little brats over. What in actual fact happened is that parents were letting their kid rampage around like it was in a freaking amusment park, paying no attention to it whatsoever when it ran straight into my legs, knocking itself on it's arse.
Aside from that, it was a crappy run anyway. Only 3 1/2 miles, but I had to stop three times. Once for the loo, the other two times because my legs really hurt. I never really understand that, why is it some days I can't even run 3 miles without stopping and yet on a weekend I'll quite happily go out and trundle 20 odd miles without really thinking about it?

First one this year! Only 2 miles but by the lake with views of the cloud engulfing Snowdon. Today's run symbolises me getting a small part of my life back. At least, for a few weeks.

4m round the village and very, very slow. Sore legs despite not having run since sunday as I had a bad back earlier in the week. Agree with Pootle it is weird how somethimes, after a good rest when you should feel great, it's all leaden legs and sore muscles and other times, when it should be hard work, it's a breeze. why is that? sleep helps, but it's not the whole story. Also sometimes it feels really slow but the timeis OK, and sometimes you think you are tip-top and come back to find you were rubbish.
