Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

1st time out in 5 weeks after being ill. A single solitary very slow mile that could hardly be described as running but it's logged and I'M BACK ;-)

Frustrating - 3rd run in a row with a hip problem, which I think I picked up after a fall in the dark. I was only 20 metres from my car after a nice run of about 7 miles when I tripped.

All three runs this week have been hampered so complete rest for 7 days and maybe a trip to an expert to find out what I have done.

Grr

On the bright side it was nice to run in daylight and I had a total ascent of 420 metres in my run of 1hr (6 miles) before the pain forced me to walk home.

I had a good'un today. You know when you're driving and you reach your destination and you don't remember some of the journey?

Well, that's how my 10 miler was today. Some of it was effortless. I really enjoyed it.

Edinburgh Park run this morning. Very frosty under foot caused a bit of wheel spin, but don't think I can blame the ice.

Missed a PB by 4 seconds. Grrr. Thought it was in the bag from our own timing, but the official times says no.

Thanks to Happy G for guiding, and keeping me on pace, nearly.

Know I can do it, so will be back again.

A very enjoyable 17 miles. There were a couple of nasty hills but I got up them and didn't need a rest at the top. Even managed a sprint finish! :-)
