Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A great run from the Carron Valley to the top of Meikle Bin. Ten miles and 2400 feet of ascent. Managed to avoid some of the sludgy mud and fallen trees on the way to the top. Ingested a foul lucozade gel at the trig point and then had a *quickish* descent.

Realised that my sunglasses were still at the trig point but it was too late to do anything about it by then- ah well I have had them for nearly a year which is a good innings for any eyewear belonging to me.

Dylan the dog's form is much better than mine on the ascents. Can we be converted to temporary quadripeds when running?

10k on my tried and trusted coastal route. Damp, cool and drizzly - just how I like it. My first 'long' run after GNR so ran at half-marathon race pace. Legs a bit achey now ;-)
