thanks BB, you are right of course, just need to focus. yes BM it was psychologically tough, so i could have been forgiven for being a couple of minutes over, but 10 is well bad, i know i wasnt prepared enough, would love to meet up for some training runs, I obvously need plenty!

A literary landmark Ian - well done Ian.
I did a gentle 5 miler to wake meself up and get back in to the swing of things. It may be steady and unspectacular, but I sure enjoy it Funny, it felt all the better for running in the drizzle with a stiffish breeze blowing.

my first run since marathon a week ago, legs felt great, i took shorter route into work(5miles) in case they werent working but neednt have worried, will run in again tomoro and still unsure about thursday, thoughts please....
got mega busy day too so it was good to get here for 6.20 to get organised, top ten will prob be late today so tell people to be patient please

Good morning.
A marvellous 7 miles in torrential rain, with over a minute off my usual time. Really invigorating!
Does anyonle else get crazy burning/itching areas of skin after they run in colder conditions? Usually my stomach/hips/tops of legs. It gets red raw sometimes
