6.3 miles this morning. Supoosed to be a recovery run, but legs fel quit good so turned it into a progressive run. Last 0.3 being run under 6 mm pace. Then 8.3 this evening. Despite the heavy legs that I was supposed to recover this morning, still moved along quite nicely.

Well I should have had a disciplined slow boring 20-30 minute recovery run in reality I woke up late decided it was too late to do anything and put casual clothing on (big no-no).

9 miles training run with friend who is doing GNR, slow even by my standards but more for friends benefit than mine. I've got an hours personal training in the morning and I think it might be a tough one as he was nice to me earlier in the week.

A tough 12k (7.4 miles) Great North Run training. Legs and glutes toght after yesterday's PT session and it took me 2 miles to shake that off. Most of the rest was okay, just felt a tightening again towards the last mile and a half, until I focused on trying to overtake another runner which took my mind off it.
