Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

One Pace Carl
12 mile lsr on/off road at a steady "one pace" also did not slip at all in the off road shoes until I was about 50 yards from my house after some knob had tipped water over his windscreen which then froze at the bottom of his drive.
Almost broke my bleeding neck !!
Enjoyed the run though and fresh very cool air. :-)

I've just filled in my application for Tyneside 10k (lets avoid injury this year MeLAR) Swittle I'd forgotten about the coastal run in July - have you done it before and just how hard it is?? (I'm guessing terribly I havent ran on sand for any distance)

my run today was very hard 3 and a bit miles, the top snow is soft and some of it slushy but under that its hard ice frozen in footprints... not good. will make normal road running seem a doddle though ;)

finally decided running in the snow isn't so bad after all and managed 8 miles round the woods but pulled something in my leg last week so don't seem to be able to go up or down hill. Doing very few 10Ks this year but might be tempted with the coastal run. Not overly keen on running on sand but the pics from last year do make it tempting.
