Still snow bound and dont have proper footwear, ankle is bruised from running in hiking boots new years day :-(. So 3 neighbours and 4 shovels and 30 mins later managed to get to the gym 5k on the treadmill.....totally wrecked now

how long will it last though swittle :-), aim is to do some form of exercise everyday. But will mainly be walking

Talking about another week
May have suggested this before but are you anywhere near a beach? I'm 10 minutes from Crosby beach & safe surfaces underfoot. Northumberland coast is such an undiscovered gem - do you run the Coastal Race in July?

No much further in land....I'm between Hexham and Newcastle. Never ran on the beach, maybe something I should look into in the summer, thats if it ever comes

Beadnell to Alnmouth, ca 14 miles depending on tide - beach, trail, field & some quiet lanes. Dunstanburgh Castle en route never fails to stir my emotions. Book early, mind!

Mad Woman Running
I had a great run today, weather was perfect and had the perfect run. A few good spots landscape wise, what else could i ask for in a 13 mile lsr...ecept it was all visulized s crap ice and snow!!!
