Unbelievably, crackingly, fantastic, the 3rd Bent - Clees Challenge, a sort of fell orienteering event. There seemed to be some sort of conspiracy, The weather was brilliant, the organisation absolutely perfect, the route not too hard to find, I was almost sober, the views amazing, everyone really friendly, superb vegetarian chile after the event, Choice of 4 events; 13 or 22 mile run, or 13 or 22 mile walk (I did the 13 mile run but much was walked).
I'm just sorry you all missed it, try it next year

First run of the day was harder work than it should have been. Maybe paralysis by analysis.
Run two was a stormer, gliding, floating, no effort, bliddy brilliant. Has to be worth a few

strange thing about my run today, felt someone watching was a young bloke, paraplegic in a wheelchair, sure he could feel the high and the passion. wish i could of given him my legs for a day, guess us runners are very blessed. will try to remember this when i moaning about sore muscles, we are all lucky.
