Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Very wet and windy 13.6 miles in under 2 hours. Fell of a ladder while doing some work on the side of the house on Friday but looks like nothing too serious, a bit of a bruised and sore back etc.

Bob!
Southend 10k

I had a number of targets today, and when I saw the weather I wondered whether any of them were acheivable.

Target 1 : To beat my PB of 48.38 set at Brentwood

Target 2 : To beat my long term aim of 47.30 for 10k

Target 3 : To beat 46.51 which would give me my first WAVA of 65%+

Target 4 : To beat Richard S's PB of 45.52

Target 5 : To hit the holy grail that is a sub 45 10k

As MeatLoaf nearly said, 4 out of 5 ain't bad!

45.39 (subject to Southend AC timekeepers) and a 66.5% WAVA!

Fabulous - 10 miles of the Pentlands, 3000 ft, 5 tops - West Kip, East Kip, South Black Hill, Scald Law and Carnethy. All sun and blue skies in Scotland, honest!

I did it. 10 miles of trails in the wind and rain. Was up to my knees in water twice but it was good fun but hard work
