Nice: 20 miles round usual haunts - towpath, RP and wimbledon common. 3 miles too short tho as had to get ooop north for family duty... no worries tho, will do next week (still 3 to go to Berlin).
Thus, Beejay - you have my Da's 60th to thank for your training league dominance

Good run, 9.3 miles which is more than my usual 6-7 miles and took it slower and was trying to beat 1hr 25 so was happy with 1hr 21min. Not as far as some of you experts but only been running for 8 months...

... and certainly not here! ... happily making it up as i go along... and definitely still doing my long runs much too fast relative to my ability!
Lovely run for me Back home with my folks in Derby so a bit of an explore: odd how has a child/teenager I thought I knew the city backwards - but now as an adult I'm discovering it all over again courtesy of my running habit! 8 miles along the river path from Darley Abbey in the N to Pride Park, once around the stadium and back home. Gorgeous morning.

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
9 miles - furthest I've run since the injury at beg of July. Only mild twinges from foot in first mile or so then no probs at all. Damn blister issue is back tho'. Am totally at a loss as to where to go with it now apart from having a total re-think on the shoe front. Even chopping holes in the side of my shoes isn't stopping it. I think the issue isn't now the bunion rubbing on the side of the shoe (it can't cos there's nowt there to rub!) but that it's rubbing on the insole - can't see anything else it could possibly be.

Kaz - good work on the run this morning! Sounds like the return to full training is going well
Shame about the pesky blisters though - you have my sympathy - but I'm not sure what to suggest other than binding your feet in surgical tape before you head out? That's what I used to do for my LRs before my feet achieved their current mangled leathery aspect... The tape ends up fairly mashed at the end of the run - but at least it's taken the strain not your feet.
