Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Warm when the sun was out, windy for most of it but still pretty quick (for someone recovering from injury)! It's just great to be running again.

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
wizlyn, when I was training for FLM, I'd go out with compeeds on (sometimes double layer) or surgical tape or moleskin and the damn things would still rub up underneath.

It killed me! It was my first ever run with my new club today. 6 miles or so, the two guys I went with pulled me round and I ended up equalling my 10k pb in a training run! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't know why I didn't join a club sooner.

(((Kaz))) - really hope you find something that works soon. so frustrating when you've never had the issues before. maybe there really is nothing for it but go back to the running shop... but assume you've already tried different socks? i used thick thorlos when the blisters got really bad - the extra cushioning seemed to help?

Lovely steady 14 miles along Chesterfield canal and back through woods and fields in the sunshine. Need to make the most of these mornings it'll be dull and wet soon :)

10K PB. Got lazy a bit, but I now know I can go fast when tapered and on the right course
