Well “our” hedgehog kept visiting until Christmas Eve. We thought that maybe it didn’t come out and feed in case Santa saw “him” and wouldn’t leave any presents.
Anyway there were no visits until the night of 29th. The food we’d left down since Christmas Eve had been eaten by the morning of the 30th. So we’ve replenished it but it was untouched this morning.
We’ll keep checking it and put more out as required. Now that it’s become a lot colder I don’t expect any more visits for a while. 🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔

The foxes mating season has started a few weeks early round here. Our back garden still appears to be where foxes meet their mates though and make baby foxes. Noisy buggers

Hedgehog alert! I noticed yesterday that something had been in the hedgehog feeding station eating the food so I put the camera out last night and it looks like the resident hog has woken up :)

We have the same, not every night but the food is going so we've put the camera back out.

It's basically a plastic tub with a hedgehog sized hole in the side to stop the cats and foxes eating the hedgehog food.

We thought that our resident had been out for a midnight feast, but not all the food had gone. We put out the camera and saw a cat who had developed a new technique of putting its head and one leg at full extent into the feed station to reach the food!

My grass is full of little holes. A badger is my guess digging for worms. Think I will put the camera out tonight

Our holes are mainly dug by squirrels
